MBGL Operating Procedures Under COVID-19
COVID-19 Operating Procedures
Our team is committed to helping you enjoy the sunshine, fresh air, and a beautiful oceanfront golf experience, in a safe and healthy way. Following guidelines from the Orange County, California Department of Public Health and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we have adopted the highest standards for safety and sanitation. Here is an overview of how we’re keeping you safe, with a detailed operating procedure document available for you here
Preparing for Your Tee Time
Advance tee times are required during this time (no walk-up tee times are allowed) and should be booked online. For issues with booking contact us at 949.431.5546 ext. 5 and one of our team members will personally assist you. To minimize the number of golfers congregating, we ask that you arrive 15 minutes prior to your tee time and depart upon completion of your round.
Our team, following all hygiene and social distancing protocol, is here to assist you throughout your golf experience. When you arrive, please stop by the entrance to our golf shop, and then you will be directed to the cart staging area. There, you will find golf cars, Phat Scooters, Golf Boards, and pushcarts pre-sanitized and pre-positioned for your use. The hitting bay and putting green is available for your use 15 minutes prior to your tee time, with extra safety precautions in place.
On Course Experience
The Monarch Café and refreshment cart are offering grab-and-go items on the course and sanitized restrooms are available as well. No more than four golfers per group are permitted and a safe distance of 30 ft is required between golf groups. You are asked not to touch or remove flagsticks and the cup on each green has been modified to eliminate high-frequency touch. Rakes have been removed from bunkers and we suggest creating and playing from a preferred lie in the bunker or taking a drop out of the bunker.
We hope that you enjoy your day and thank you for playing at Monarch Beach Golf Links.
