OB Rewards will have crossover benefits with the global Troon Rewards Program giving you the ability to earn and redeem points at over 100 participating OB Sports and Troon locations worldwide, including but not limited to the likes of Kapalua, Maderas, Mauna Lani, Gamble Sands, Sandia, Tijeras Creek and Silverado.

You will earn (1) point per dollar spent on golf fees, instruction, club-sponsored clinics & merchandise purchased in the golf shop at OB Sports & Troon participating facilities.
The OB Rewards points can be used towards complimentary rounds of golf based on a predetermined redemption schedule.  Another great option is that rounds of golf can be redeemed by using a combination of OB Rewards points and cash.  You are also eligible for special offers, partner opportunities, & invitations to exclusive events by just being an OB Rewards participant.

Redeeming Rounds of Golf

Members can use their OB Rewards points towards one (1) complimentary round of golf. Rounds of golf can also be redeemed by using a combination of OB Rewards points and cash.  Example: A complimentary round of golf at Monarch Beach Golf Links a “Tier 2” course would require 1,500 OB Rewards points or a combination of 750 OB Rewards points and $75.
 

Rules & Restrictions:

  • Rounds may be played anytime Monday - Thursday and Friday - Sunday & holidays after 12:00 p.m. at participating OB Sports & Troon Golf daily-fee facilities 
  • When using OB Rewards points for a complimentary round, tee times can be made up to 3 days in advance, and use of OB Rewards points must be mentioned at time of booking.
  • OB Rewards points do not expire, provided that Member has earned or redeemed OB Rewards points in the last eighteen (18) months
  • OB Rewards redeemed points may be used based on availability and cannot be used in conjunction with groups (12 players or more), hotel/resort packages or with any other special offers.
  • The issuing of OB Rewards points does not constitute a reservation. Members are responsible for making all reservations and communicating directly with a facility regarding OB Rewards points.
  • Redemption options and locations are subject to change at any time.
  • Tee time reservations must be canceled no later than 48 hours prior to the day of play.  Failure to cancel tee times without proper notification may result in being charged as a “No-Show” under the courses No-Show policy
  • HOW TO REDEEM - Book your tee time with the course within the qualifying booking window listed above and mention you will be redeeming your OB Rewards points
 
OB Rewards members can also achieve status levels to enhance their loyalty experience including elevated discounts on their green fee and merchandise purchases.
Once a member has achieved a status level they will retain the status level for the remainder of the calendar year in which it is achieved through the end of the following calendar year.  Status Levels are Silver, Golf and Platinum.

ELIGIBILITY

  • Participation in OB Rewards does not constitute a membership of any kind at participating Troon facilities, or otherwise
  • OB Rewards is for individuals only, and only one (1) OB Rewards number will be issued to each eligible individual
  • OB Rewards accounts are non-transferable
  • Employees / Associates of OB Sports are not eligible to participate in OB Rewards or Troon Rewards
 

HOW TO EARN & REDEEM OB REWARDS POINTS

  • Members will begin earning OB Rewards points, in accordance with the provisions hereof, as of the date that the Member is approved by OB Sports to participate in OB Rewards. OB Rewards points will not be applied to purchases made prior to such date
  • Members are eligible to earn OB Rewards points for the following purchases (pre-tax) at participating daily-fee facilities:
  • Member’s golf fees
  • Member’s total merchandise purchased in the golf shop
  • OB Sports sponsored golf instruction executed by OB facility or OB Academy teaching professionals, allocated as follows:
  • Group Clinic – 25 OB Rewards Points
  • Private Lesson – 50 OB Rewards Points
  • Private Lesson bundles will be awarded at the rate of 50 points per lesson attended. Points will be awarded at the time the guest checks in for each individual lesson
  • OB Sports Academy Schools – 75 OB Rewards Points (per day)  
  • Group Golf: If you plan a group golf event that includes at least 12 golf players at a participating OB facility you may be eligible to earn OB Rewards points as a “Group Golf Leader” as follows:
  • Points for Group Golf will be earned by the Group Golf Leader as follows:
    • One-time spend of $2,500 to $4,999 USD earns the Group Golf Leader 250 OB Rewards points
    • One-time spend of $5,000 to $9,999 USD earns the Group Golf Leader 500 OB Rewards points
    • One-time spend of $10,000 to $14,999 USD earns the Group Golf Leader 1,000 OB Rewards points
    • One-time spend of $15,000 USD or more earns the Group Golf Leader 1,500 OB Rewards points
  • The group's one-time spend is limited to golf fees and merchandise, including rental clubs
  • Points are awarded at the time of final group payment
  • Certain purchases made through third parties or in connection with hotel packages, including Troon Golf Vacations (golf and merchandise portions only). Each facility reserves the right to determine the value of the golf portion of such purchases. Not all third party purchases are eligible for OB Rewards points.
  • Golf groups that pay individually are not eligible for Group Golf OB Rewards, but the group's individual golfers are eligible for OB Rewards points based on their individual spend
  • To receive OB Rewards points, Members must present their OB Rewards number at the time of check-in. It is the Member’s sole responsibility to verify that OB Reward points have been properly credited to their OB Rewards account
  • If a Member does not have their OB Rewards number at the time of purchase, or if the facility is unable to credit OB Rewards points to the Member's account for any reason, the Member should email OBRewards@Troon.com, the complete original receipt within 30 days of the original purchase date. It will then take up to 14 days for the applicable number of OB Rewards points to be credited to the Member's account

Members will not be eligible to earn OB Rewards points for the following purchases:

  • Food and beverages
  • Golf fees for persons other than Member
  • Member initiation fees, dues or annual passes
  • Gift cards or any other pre-purchase of golf shop credit
  • OB Sports Affiliated Cards
  • In connection with any other product or promotion offered by OB Sports, unless specifically designated as such in writing by OB Sports
  • Pre-paid online golf reservations made through third parties
  • To verify whether a purchase is subject to OB Rewards points, Members may contact OB Sports at rewards@troon.com.
  • All points will be equal to $1 USD. Currency exchange rates will be updated annually at the sole discretion of OB Sports
  • Exchange rates will be provided by the United States Department of the Treasury
  • OB Rewards points have no intrinsic cash value and are non-transferable. In the event that a Member has more than one OB Rewards account, the Member may combine their OB Rewards points from such accounts upon OB Sports prior authorization, at its sole discretion
  • OB Sports, at its sole discretion, has the right to cancel or reverse any OB Rewards points: (1) if such points were credited in error, (2) for products not paid for, or (3) for purchase refunds
