2026 Monarch Beach Skins Game Club & Links Card Tournament Series
Club Fees
1. The fee to play in the 2026 Saturday Skins Game is $195 + $30 cash for the skins game + an optional $20 team game.
2. The fee to play in the 2026 Saturday Skins Game for Non Links Card Holders is $225 + $30 cash for the skins game + an optional $20 team game.
3. On Saturdays, all participants will receive 20% off food and beverage from the Beverage Carts & the Monarch Café.
Pace of Play
1. All groups must play ready golf at all times. No honors.
2. All groups must finish in 4 Hours & 15 Minutes or faster. NO EXCEPTIONS.
3. Any group that falls out of position will be given a warning and one hole to close the gap between them and the group ahead of them. After a warning is given, any group that fails to catch up to the group ahead of them will be required to pick up and move into position, forfeiting any opportunity to win a skin on the holes they are required to skip.
Skins Game Tee Time Reservations
1. Monarch Beach Golf Links will reserve seven (7) tee times for a total of twenty-eight (28) players, starting at 7:20 AM.
2. An email invite will be sent out to all current members of the club on Monday or Tuesday.
3. If you would like to play that week, please respond to the email invite as soon as possible.
4. MBGL will make an effort to accommodate as many players as possible but will only guarantee 28 spots each week.
5. On Thursday afternoon, all unreserved spots will be opened to public play.
6. On Friday afternoon, an email with Saturday’s pairings & tee times will be sent to all of that week’s participants.
7. Any player who cancels within 24 hours of the reserved tee time will be charged a $100 cancelation fee per the MBGL standard cancellation policy.
Skins Game Format
1. The USGA Rules of Golf will govern all play, along with the supplemental Hard Card.
2. Local Rule E-5 Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds will be in play at all times.
3. All players must carry a current and valid GHIN index to participate in the Skins Game and Tournaments.
4. Each player will be allowed 70% of their current course handicap.
5. A maximum of 18 strokes will be given to any player.
6. Skins will be awarded to the single lowest net score on each hole.
Prize Payouts
1. $30 cash entry fee from each play will be pooled and divided by the number of net skins won, minus a nominal amount set aside for the closest to the pin contest.
2. There are generally other bets between foursomes. These bets are optional and at the discretion of the players in each group.
3. If any player makes a hole-in-one in a skins game or a tournament, he or she will win the entire cash purse for the skins game regardless of any other scores the rest of the field has shot that day.
Team Game
• Buy-in is $20.00 / per person
• Four-person teams will be selected after the round using a blind draw system. The results will be shared at the end of the day.
• 100% Handicap for all Players
• Must count 2 low net balls on 15 holes & Must count 3 low net balls on three predetermined holes highlighted on the scorecard in BLUE.
• Max Net Double Bogey
• All ties will be broken using the USGA recommended tie breaking method. Countback.
✓ Total Score – Holes 10-18 / Total Score – Holes 13-18 / Total Score – Holes 16-18 / Total Score – Hole 18
• If all players in your group do not submit their entry before teeing off, your team will not be entered into the competition, and your entry fee will be refunded.
• Please turn in ONE scorecard from each group signed and attested by everyone in the group. If there isn’t a signature from everyone in the group the scorecard is not valid.
2026 Links Card Tournament Series (LCTS)
1. You MUST be a current Links Cardholder, Monarch Beach Resort Member, or Unlimited Golf Member to play in the LCTS events.
2. The cost to play in the LCTS events is $225. An optional cash skins game will be available in most LCTS formats.
3. The USGA Rules of Golf will govern all play.
4. Local Rule E-5 Alternative to Stroke and Distance for Lost Ball or Ball Out of Bounds will be in play at all times.
5. There will be three major championships that will pay double points. (MemberMember/MemberGuest/Club Championship)
6. After the conclusion of the 2026 LCTS, the top 7 point earners from the season will qualify to represent Monarch Beach Golf Links for our Annual Las Vegas Golf Trip.
